American Express recently introduced a new set of Amex Offers for targeted cardholders on eligible Amazon purchases. In this latest round of offers, some cardholders can earn an enticing bonus of up to 3,600 Membership Rewards points on Amazon purchases.
If you have one of these offers, you can earn bonus points by making Amazon purchases with an enrolled card between now and Dec. 31.
TPG Senior Writer Katie Genter found an offer on The Business Platinum Card® from American Express for 1,200 additional Amex Membership Rewards points when she spends a minimum of $150 on one or more Amazon purchases, with a limit of 3,600 points total.
The 3,600-point cap means the offer only applies to up to $450 in spending. If you max it out, you'll enjoy $72 in additional value through this offer based on TPG's November 2024 valuation of Amex Membership Rewards points.
The Amex Business Platinum card earns 1 Amex Membership Rewards point per dollar spent on most purchases (except for certain travel and business-related categories, which earn more). With an additional 12 points per dollar, you'd earn up to 13 points per dollar.
TPG Credit Cards Editor Emily Thompson found the same offer on her American Express® Gold Card. TPG Associate Credit Cards Writer Augusta Stone had an offer for 500 Membership Rewards points after spending a minimum of $50 on one or more purchases, up to 1,500 total Membership Rewards points. Her bonus offer is worth up to $30, according to our valuations.
