The World of Hyatt program offers some of the best redemption rates in the industry and several unique hotel brands within the Hyatt portfolio.
The World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) is currently offering an elevated bonus that includes the chance to earn free nights after meeting one spending requirement and the potential to earn bonus points for reaching a second threshold.
Meanwhile, World of Hyatt Business Credit Card (see rates and fees) comes with its business-as-usual bonus.

World of Hyatt Credit Card
Welcome offer: Earn two free nights at any Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. Plus, earn 25,000 bonus points after you spend $12,000 on purchases in the first six months from account opening. This offer is available through Aug. 28.
Based on TPG's July 2025 valuations, the free nights and points earned in this bonus are worth up to $1,037. This is the value if you reach both spending requirements and maximize the two free nights for 18,000 points each at a Category 4 property.
This is slightly better than the regular welcome offer on this card, but it is not the best bonus we've seen.
In the past, the card has offered up to 75,000 bonus points or more free nights as part of the welcome bonus. (offer no longer available)

Earning rate: Up to 9 points total for Hyatt stays — 4 points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and 5 points per dollar spent as a World of Hyatt member — plus 2 points per dollar spent at restaurants, on airline tickets purchased directly from the airlines, on local transit and commuting and on fitness club and gym memberships and 1 point per dollar spent on everything else.
Why we like it: This card has several valuable ongoing perks, the best of which is the annual free night certificate at a Category 1-4 Hyatt property, which you'll receive every account anniversary. You'll also get a second free night after spending $15,000 in a calendar year.

World of Hyatt Business Credit Card
Welcome offer: Earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first three months of account opening.
Based on TPG's July 2025 valuations, the 60,000 bonus points are worth $1,020, which is the regular bonus offer we see on this card.
Annual fee: $199
Earning rate: Up to 9 points total for Hyatt stays — 4 points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and 5 points per dollar spent as a World of Hyatt member — plus 2 points per dollar spent on fitness club and gym membership purchases.
Cardholders also earn 2 points per dollar in their top three spending categories each quarter with no spending cap. These categories include:
- Airline tickets purchased directly from an airline
- Car rental agencies
- Dining
- Gas stations
- Internet, cable and phone services
- Local transit and commuting
- Social media and search engine advertising
- Shipping
The points-earning rates will be adjusted automatically on the categories where you spend the most each quarter, so there's no need to select your preferred categories. Beyond your bonus categories, you'll earn 1 point per dollar spent on all purchases.
Why we like it: Hyatt loyalists who own a business can find value in the card's $100 in Hyatt credits each anniversary year and the ability to gift Discoverist status to up to five employees.
You'll earn five tier-qualifying nights for every $10,000 you spend on the card in a calendar year.

Why should you get a Hyatt card?
Both the World of Hyatt personal and business cards offer plenty of benefits for Hyatt loyalists. In fact, the Hyatt personal card ranks among the top picks of TPG staffers.
Having either card automatically grants you Discoverist status, which includes benefits such as late checkout, preferred rooms and a 10% points bonus on eligible purchases. Spending on either card can also earn you additional elite-qualifying nights.
