In 2025, 885,100 Filipinos flew to Japan, according to the Japan National Tourism Organization. That is about 2,400 Filipinos landing in Japan every day, and almost all of them needed a visa first. The route to that visa looks very different from when we wrote our first Japan guides in 2022.
