Paris-bound travellers out of Montreal will soon have a new option to get there as French low-cost carrier French Bee has announced its first-ever Canadian route.
Beginning April 30, 2025, French Bee will fly from its hub at Paris Orly Airport (ORY) to Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL), giving Montreal-based passengers another option to fly across the Atlantic.
French Bee Launches First Canadian Route
Long-haul low-cost carrier French Bee has announced its first ever flights to Canada with a new Paris–Montreal route beginning in Spring 2025.
Starting on April 30, 2025, French Bee will operate four weekly flights between Paris Orly Airport (ORY) and Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL).
According to airline schedule network AeroRoutes, the number of flights will rise to five per week from July 5, 2025, to August 30, 2025, to meet the demands of the peak summer season with the following flight times:
- BF760 Paris (ORY) to Montreal (YUL), departing 7:20pm and arriving 9pm
- BF761 Montreal (YUL) to Paris (ORY), departing 11pm and arriving 12pm the next day
Flights will depart Paris on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with the additional peak service operating on Saturdays.
The new Canadian route will be serviced by French Bee’s Airbus A350-900 with a two-class configuration featuring 35 seats in premium economy and 376 seats in economy.
Montreal’s airport is Canada’s third largest airport and represents a significant market for air travel from Paris, meaning that French Bee will have some competition when it comes to attracting passengers.
As it stands, Air Transat, Air France, Air Canada, and Corsair all currently offer non-stop flights between Montreal (YUL) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
Booking French Bee’s New Montreal–Paris Route
A quick search of the French Bee flights shows fares for around $400 (all figures in CAD) for a seat in economy and just over $700 for premium economy.
While these prices are quite reasonable, it’s worth noting that French Bee doesn’t offer any loyalty programs or frequent flyer benefits, so you won’t be rewarded for passenger loyalty.
If you’re interested in booking a low-cost flight to Europe, you’ll want to ensure that you’re covered by travel insurance in the event of any disruptions to your travel plans.
This is especially important with a low-cost carrier like French Bee, which doesn’t offer multiple flights per day or participate in an airline alliance.
Additionally, you can consider redeeming fixed-value points against the cost of your flight to further reduce the out-of-pocket expenses of a low-cost flight.
Our top picks for cards that provide good coverage for flight disruptions and that earn fixed-value points that you can redeem against your trip are the TD® First Class Travel® Visa Infinite* Card, the Scotiabank Gold American Express® Card, and the National Bank® World Elite® Mastercard®.
