Four Seasons Hotel New York, one of the most iconic hotels in the Big Apple, is officially reopening next month after years of closure. It's now accepting reservations for stays starting Nov. 15.

Four Seasons Hotel New York closed at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. Since then, the hotel has faced a series of reopening woes after being shuttered for an extended period of time. There were struggles related to the maintenance and improvement of the towering building owned by Beanie Babies billionaire Ty Warner as well as to the process of rehiring furloughed staff. There was even a reported dispute between Warner and Four Seasons around rates and operating costs.

That appears to be in the past, though, and travelers can soon expect to bask in luxury at the I. M. Pei-designed hotel. The property is on 57th Street, which is known as Billionaires' Row thanks to the ultra-high-end high-rise apartment buildings lining the Midtown Manhattan street. Locals can once again lean into lunch at The Garden, now offering an Italian-inspired menu, or enjoy late-night martinis (gin, extra dirty, please) at Ty Bar.

For stays starting Nov. 15, a handful of each room type will be available to book. All rooms will be available to book in 2025. New one-, two- and three-bedroom extended stay accommodations are also coming down the line for guests who need more space for longer stays.

"For more than three decades, Four Seasons Hotel New York has been a beacon of luxury hospitality for discerning guests from around the world — and around the corner," said Antoine Chahwan, president of Four Seasons hotel operations in the Americas. "As this beloved Hotel enters a new era in its celebrated history, Four Seasons and the property's longtime, dedicated owner Ty Warner proudly welcome back our loyal guests, and introduce a new generation to the endless opportunities for memorable New York City moments at every turn."
